Sausages and Beer: Breaking the German Stereotype

This blog began so time ago as a means to keep my family and friends updated on my adventures. For all those who don't know, I am in Bavaria, Germany for a year. My interests are pretty uninteresting: music, reading, movies, going out with my friends, even running. But laughing and having fun, without a doubt.

don't worry, it's short

well, I haven't fallen over in the last 2 weeks, so I'm making progress!!

and I baked! yes, that's right. I make lammingtons and ANZAC biscuits. Now, the lammington cake was a bit of a worry (it was about half the depth it was supposed to be) but it worked out really well. and the ANZAC biccies, well.... the mixture was a bit dry (haha, understatement) but they also turned out really well. I know... i was surprised too!

I also learnt that the germans do know the anzac biscuit recipe...they give them to horses!! i laughed heartily at that!

one day, I will try rice crispies and pavlova.

went to a friends birthday party on the weekend. that was nice.

okay.

love youse all.
